06:10 AM EDT, 04/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- OceanFirst Financial ( OCFC ) and Flushing Financial ( FFIC ) said late Monday they received shareholder approvals for their planned merger.

The New York State Department of Financial Services and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency have also granted their approvals of the proposed deal.

The companies said the deal's completion is subject to approval from the board of governors of the Federal Reserve and other conditions.
