10:25 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- O-I Glass ( OI ) said Thursday it has completed the development and testing of a mobile processing machine that can clean and crush recycled glass to produce furnace-ready cullet for glass packaging.

The machine, called Mogra or mobile glass recycling asset, can crush glass to a specific size while removing metallic content and process up to 6,000 MT of glass packaging annually, the company said.

Mogra can fit on a truck trailer and be transported to any of the company's sites or other locations across the US, O-I Glass ( OI ) said.
