09:52 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oklo ( OKLO ) said Wednesday it has finalized a memorandum of agreement with the US Department of Energy Idaho Operations Office to proceed with evaluations at its preferred site in Idaho.

The agreement allows Oklo ( OKLO ) to carry out studies for infrastructure planning and environmental assessments at the site as part of its plans to set up a fission power plant, it said.

The agreement builds on a previous site use permit and fuel supply arrangement with the Energy department, Oklo ( OKLO ) added.
