08:29 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Old Republic International ( ORI ) said Thursday it agreed to acquire Everett Cash Mutual Insurance and affiliated companies after its conversion to a stock company in a sponsored demutualization deal.

Everett, a Pennsylvania-based insurer of small farmowners and some commercial agricultural operations, wrote direct written premium of $237 million last year, Old Republic ( ORI ) said.

The company said it expects the transaction to close in 2026 and to be accretive to book value per share and operating income per share.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
