Olin Among US Epoxy Resin Producers Filing Antidumping Petitions Against 5 Countries
Apr 3, 2024 2:03 PM

04:52 PM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Olin (OLN) said Wednesday it is part of the US Epoxy Resin Producers Ad Hoc Coalition that filed antidumping and countervailing duty petitions against five countries with the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission

The petitions allege that certain traded imports of resins for unfairly low prices from China, India, Taiwan, South Korea, and Thailand are resulting in material injury to the national epoxy resin industry, according to the company.

Olin said the foreign producers benefit from numerous countervailable subsidies and their low prices significantly undercut the prices of US producers.
