Olin Declares Force Majeure Due to Damage at Facility in Texas From Hurricane Beryl

04:59 PM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Olin (OLN) said Wednesday operations at its facility in Freeport, Texas, were disrupted temporarily due to Hurricane Beryl.

The company said it has declared Force Majeure for its Chlor Alkali products and aromatics shipments due to hurricane damage at the facility.

The Freeport facility is being inspected, while duration of the disruption remains uncertain, Olin said.
