01:17 PM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Olin (OLN) said Wednesday it has removed its systemwide force majeure on chlor-alkali products, with chlor-alkali and derivative production returning to operation.

The company said the force majeure was declared July 10 after Hurricane Beryl caused a temporary disruption to its operations in Freeport, Texas.

Olin also said its Epoxy business is in the process of restarting its Aromatics assets which remain under force majeure.

Shares of Olin were down about 2% in recent trading.
