08:50 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ollie's Bargain Outlet Holdings (OLLI) said Wednesday it has appointed Chief Operating Officer Eric van der Valk to succeed John Swygert as chief executive while Swygert transitions to the executive chairman role in early 2025.

Chris Zender, who previously served as chief operating officer at Variety Wholesalers, was appointed as Ollie's COO, effective June 17.
