11:18 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Omai Gold Mines ( OMGGF ) on Tuesday upsized its bought-deal private placement offering and now aims to raise $22 million, up from the previous $15 million.

The company will now issue 73.33-million shares at $0.30 each. The underwriters have been granted an option to purchase up to 11-million additional shares for additional proceeds of up to $3.3 million.

Proceeds will be used for exploration and development, and general working capital purposes.

The offering is expected to close about Feb. 13.

Omai was last seen down $0.005 to $0.32 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
