01:53 PM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Omai Gold Mines ( OMGGF ) on Tuesday upsized its best-efforts private-placement offering to raise $13 million, up from its original $10-million target.

The company is now looking to place 108.33-million shares at $0.12.

The company plans to use the proceeds for exploration and development, and general working capital purposes. The offering is expected to close by June 20.

Omai shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.13 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
