04:51 PM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Omineca Mining and Metals ( OMMSF ) after trade Tuesday said it applied to the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the expiry date of nearly 9.4-million outstanding warrants which are set to expire on Nov. 16.

The company is seeking to extend the expiry date by another 12 months while keeping all other terms the same. This amendment is subject to Exchange approval.

The warrants were issued during a private placement on Nov. 16, 2022, and can be exercised at $0.12 per share.

Omineca shares closed up $0.005 to $0.06 on the Venture Exchange.
