07:56 AM EDT, 06/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oncolytics Biotech ( ONCY ) on Monday said President and Chief Executive Officer Matt Coffey will take a medical leave of absence, effective immediately.

Wayne Pisano, chair of Oncolytics' board, will serve as the interim CEO during Dr. Coffey's absence, a statement said. Pisano, who has chaired the board since 2013, has 30 years of experience as a pharmaceutical industry executive and 12 years of experience in the biotech industry.
