Ondas Acquires Bird Aerosystems to Enter Missile Protection Market

09:59 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ondas ( ONDS ) said Wednesday it acquired Bird Aerosystems to expand into the airborne missile protection and surveillance markets.

The acquired business provides aircraft defense and intelligence platforms currently installed on more than 700 aircraft globally, the company said.

The acquisition will enable the development of advanced protection systems designed for next-generation unmanned aircraft operating in contested environments, Ondas ( ONDS ) said.

Shares of the company were up 1.7% in Wednesday trading.
