10:53 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ondas Holdings ( ONDS ) said Monday that its Airobotics unit has received a $5.4 million order from a "major defense customer" for its Optimus System, which has performed operational drone flights without human intervention.

The Optimus System will be used for asset protection and aerial border security, Ondas ( ONDS ) said.

Shares of Ondas ( ONDS ) were up more than 17% in recent trading.
