OneMain Shares Rise After Q1 Results, Higher Quarterly Dividend

10:19 AM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- OneMain Holdings ( OMF ) shares rose more than 3% in recent Tuesday trading following its Q1 results and an increase in quarterly dividend.

Earlier, the company reported Q1 earnings of $1.29 per diluted share, down from $1.48 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.32.

Revenue, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $1.08 billion for the quarter ended March 31, up from $1.03 billion a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.15 billion.

The company raised its quarterly dividend 4% to $1.04 per share, payable May 17 to shareholders of record May 10.
