OnePlus is set to launch OnePlus 6T on October 30 in India. The upgrade to OnePlus 6 is not expected to offer many differentiated features.
The expected specifications of the phone are that the dual-SIM OnePlus 6T will run Android 8.1 Oreo and feature a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is also rumoured to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and up to 256GB storage. It will be equipped with dual rear camera setup along with a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. There could also be features such as an HDR mode and a new Night Mode.
It is expected to be priced at Rs 48,000 for 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant.
Reliance Digital announced its partnership with OnePlus to start selling the OnePlus 6T offline in India.
Reliance Digital will organise promotional campaigns for OnePlus products to attract more customers. The announcement comes just before the launch of the OnePlus 6T scheduled for October 29 in New York, followed by an India launch on October 30 in New Delhi.
Reliance Digital stores will sell OnePlus 6T in offline stores and the phone will also be sold online via Amazon and OnePlus store. Previously, OnePlus 6 was sold at Tata Group-owned Chroma offline stores.
