Onex Partnering To Buy Integrated Specialty Coverages, a Tech-enabled Insurance Platform
Sep 19, 2025 1:32 AM

03:17 PM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Onex ( ONEXF ) announced Thursday that the Onex Partners Opportunities Fund has moved to acquire tech-enabled insurance platform Integrated Speciality Services (ISC) from KKR, in a deal that is expected to close later this year, but for which no financial details were made available.

A statement noted the investment by Onex Partners is being made alongside the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, Ardian (through its Co-Investment strategy), and several other leading institutional equity partners. As part of the transaction, KKR will exit its investment in the company.

Onex ( ONEXF ) said the investment continues its long history of investing across the entire property and casualty insurance value chain, particularly in founder-led businesses.

The management team and employees at ISC -- which has built an end-to-end insurance platform powered by proprietary data analytics that connects a broad network of insurance markets and distribution channels -- will remain "significant shareholders" following the transaction.

Shares in Onex ( ONEXF ) were last seen up more than 1%, and near 52 week highs, in Canada.
