08:22 AM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Onex ( ONEXF ) on Thursday said its Onex Partners Opportunities Fund will buy Farsound Aviation, a global supply chain solutions provider for the aerospace engine maintenance, repair and overhaul market (MRO).

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The investment has been made in partnership with Farsound's management team, led by Chief Executive Chris Knott.

Headquartered in Brentwood, England, Farsound acts as a strategic partner to engine MRO providers, supporting key commercial engine platforms. It operates out of four facilities in the UK, U.S., Canada, and Spain.

The transaction is expected to close later this year, subject to closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
