(Reuters) - Flutter Entertainment, the world's largest online betting firm, said on Monday it has appointed Walt Disney's ( DIS ) former finance chief Christine McCarthy to its board of directors.
The company also added Robert Bennett, former director at Warner Bros Discovery ( WBD ), to its board.
McCarthy will sit on Flutter's audit committee and Bennett will serve as a member of the risk and sustainability committee as part of the appointments, effective July 30.
McCarthy is a 23-year Disney ( DIS ) veteran who became CFO of the company in 2015, which she held until June last year. During her tenure, she has held several leadership roles at Disney ( DIS ) and is currently a director at Procter & Gamble.
Bennett has previously been the president and chief executive officer of Liberty Media ( LLYVB ). He is currently a director at HP and Liberty Media ( LLYVB ).
In May, Dublin-based Flutter named Rob Coldrake as its new group CFO replacing Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson, who would also be stepping down from his role as executive director.
