Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.53.

Revenue for the quarter ended July 4 was $1.47 billion, down from $1.74 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.45 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $0.54 to $0.64 per diluted share on revenue of $1.47 billion to $1.57 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.58 per diluted share on revenue of $1.5 billion.

The company's shares were down 4.1% in recent Monday premarket activity.
