03:16 PM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Justice Leiper of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on March 4, 2026, certified a securities misrepresentation class action against Barrick Gold Corporation (ABX.TO, B) [which completed its name change to Barrick Mining Corporation ( B ) in May 2025] and also against certain of its officers and directors (Aaron W. Regent, Jamie Sokalsky, and Ammar Al-Joundi), according to a statement Wednesday from Joel Rochon, founding partner and the head of Rochon Genova's class actions practice in Toronto.

A statement reads: "The action, brought on behalf of Barrick investors, seeks damages arising from Barrick's alleged misrepresentations concerning the Pasqua Lama mine project located in the high Andes region of Chile and Argentina."
