10:15 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- OPAL Fuels ( OPAL ) said Monday it has completed the sale of $8.9 million in investment tax credits.

Sapphire RNG facility, a joint venture in which OPAL holds a 50% stake, generated the credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, the company said.

Proceeds from the sale will add to the company's net income and operating cash flow, it said.

Shares of the company were down 2.1% in recent trading.
