03:10 PM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI on Monday introduced a new in-chat app platform for ChatGPT, allowing users to access third-party services such as Spotify ( SPOT ) , Booking's (BKNG) Booking.com, Figma ( FIG ) , Expedia ( EXPE ) , Zillow ( ZG ) (ZG, Z), Coursera ( COUR ) , and Canva directly within the chatbot.

The new feature enables users perform tasks like creating playlists with Spotify ( SPOT ) or browsing property listings through Zillow ( ZG ) without leaving ChatGPT, OpenAI said.

OpenAI said the apps are available in English to logged-in users outside the European Union across its Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans.

Separately, Spotify ( SPOT ) said its integration enables users to request personalized music and podcast recommendations within ChatGPT. The company said the feature is opt-in and that no audio or video content will be shared with OpenAI for training purposes.

OpenAI said more app partners and developer tools will roll out later this year.
