07:58 PM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- OpenAI said Tuesday it appointed David Velez, chief executive of Nubank, and Robin Vince, chief executive of BNY, to the boards of the OpenAI Foundation and OpenAI Group PBC.

The company said Velez and Vince bring experience leading global financial institutions and using technology to expand access and economic opportunity.

OpenAI said the appointments will strengthen governance as it expands its AI products and services.
