OpenAI Reaches 1 Million Business Customers Globally

02:28 PM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) -backed OpenAI said Wednesday it has reached over 1 million business clients globally.

The company said it has over 7 million total ChatGPT for Work seats, while ChatGPT Enterprise seats have grown nine times from a year earlier.

OpenAI rolled out multiple tools and integrations, including company knowledge, code generation model Codex, AgenKit, as well as image generation and realtime APIs to support the accelerated growth, it said.
