09:52 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- OpenText , a global leader in secure information management for AI, said Wednesday it introduced new innovations in its OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response platform, an AI-powered cybersecurity solution integrated with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Copilot for Security.
A statement noted that the joint solution helps security teams detect, investigate, and respond to threats faster while cutting alert noise.
The company said that OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response extends Microsoft Copilot for Security with behavior-based indicators and identity context from continuous endpoint and user analysis, "yielding more relevant summaries, guided investigations, and recommended actions so analysts can quickly move from signal to response with higher confidence."
"Powered by AI and built with deep integration into Microsoft security tools, OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response filters out the noise and surfaces the most relevant, high-confidence threats - including those that often go unnoticed," said Muhi Majzoub, OpenText EVP, security products. "This allows security teams to respond with greater speed, precision and confidence."
The company's shares were last seen up $0.05 to $53.21 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
