11:15 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) founder, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison has become the world's richest person as his fortune increased by $101 billion to $393 billion after the company posted fiscal Q1 earnings results that surpassed expectations, according to media reports on Wednesday.

Oracle shares were up nearly 43% in recent trading.
