09:02 AM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) said Tuesday that its Cloud Infrastructure will becoming the launch partner for artificial intelligence supercluster powered by AMD's Instinct MI450 Series graphics processing units or GPUs.
Under the expanded collaboration, the companies are aiming for an initial deployment of 50,000 GPUs starting in Q3 of 2026 and expanding in 2027 and beyond, Oracle said.
Each AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPU will provide up to 432 GB of fourth generation high bandwidth memory, or HBM4, and 20 TB/s of memory bandwidth, enabling customers to train AI models that are 50 percent larger than previous generations entirely in-memory, Oracle said.
