09:10 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) and Google Cloud (GOOG) said Thursday they plan to add eight regions for Oracle Database@Google Cloud in the next 12 months, alongside new tools aimed at enhancing flexibility and resilience.
The updates include cross-region disaster recovery for the Oracle Autonomous Database Serverless, enabling replication across Google Cloud regions, and a single-node option for Oracle Exadata Database Service, the companies said.
The new regions are Iowa, Montreal, Toronto, Tokyo, Osaka, Mumbai, Delhi, and Sao Paulo, while datacenter capacity in London, Frankfurt and Ashburn will be doubled, the companies added.
