12:05 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) said Tuesday it has launched new AI features, including Oracle Code Assist, to help build and optimize applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Oracle Code Assist integrates with JetBrains and Microsoft's programming tools to provide intelligent suggestions and speed up development by automating mundane tasks, the company said.

Kubernetes Engine is now more capable of deploying and managing AI workloads, while Oracle Cloud Guard has received AI-powered security improvements, it added.

Intelligent Data Lake is expected to be launched in 2025, and will include features that support data processing, analysis, real-time data connectivity and integration of structured and unstructured data, Oracle said.

The new Oracle Analytics Cloud AI Assistant can convert common language into actionable insights, the company added.

The company's shares were up 12% in recent trading.
