Oracle, NTT DATA Japan Collaborate to Improve Sovereign Cloud Capabilities in Japan

12:03 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) said Thursday it is collaborating with NTT DATA Japan to improve sovereign cloud capabilities in Japan through Oracle Alloy.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Oracle Alloy is a cloud infrastructure platform that allows Oracle partners to operate as cloud service providers, the company said.

NTT DATA Japan will implement Oracle Alloy in two data centers, enhancing its OpenCanvas sovereign cloud platform with access to over 150 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, including AI capabilities.

The services are set to be available in Japan East by December 2025 and Japan West by March 2027, supporting data sovereignty requirements and regulatory compliance for Japanese organizations, the company said.
