Oracle Prices $18 Billion Bond Sale

05:09 PM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) priced $18 billion of senior notes across six tranches, including $3 billion of 4.45% notes due 2030, $3 billion of 4.80% notes due 2032, $4 billion of 5.20% notes due 2035, $2.5 billion of 5.87% notes due 2045, $3.5 billion of 5.95% notes due 2055, and $2 billion of 6.10% notes due 2065, according to a prospectus filed Thursday.

Net proceeds of about $17.9 billion will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, capital expenditures, investments, acquisitions, and share repurchases, Oracle said.

Shares of Oracle closed down 5.6% Thursday, before gaining nearly 2% after hours. Trading volume was about 37.9 million shares, double the average of 19.1 million.
