Financial details weren't disclosed.

This acquisition enhances OraSure's ( OSUR ) innovation pipeline by adding Sherlock's molecular diagnostics platform, which delivers results with sensitivity and specificity in a disposable format ideal for over-the-counter use, the company said.

Shares of OraSure ( OSUR ) were up 4% in after-hours activity.
