Orchid Island Capital Expects Q2 Loss

05:30 PM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orchid Island Capital ( ORC ) expects a Q2 GAAP net loss of $0.29 a share.

Four analysts polled by FactSet expect earnings of $0.14 a share.

The projected result in the three months ended June 30 includes an estimated $0.45 a share in net realized and unrealized losses on residential mortgage-backed securities

and derivative instruments, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

"These amounts compare to total dividends declared during the quarter of $0.36 per share," the company said.
