05:19 PM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orezone Gold ( ORZCF ) , after trade Wednesday released its third-quarter production results along with an update on its stage 1 hard rock expansion at the Bombore Gold Mine in Burkina Faso.
During the quarter, Orezone produced 23,371 ounces of gold, compared with 27,548 ounces in the previous quarter, and sold 20,350 ounces. The realized gold selling price averaged US$3,375 per ounce, generating revenue of US$68.7 million, it said.
The company added that at quarter's end, it held US$85.3 million in cash and bullion valued at US$18.9 million, equivalent to 4,942 ounces.
Orezone said that construction of the stage 1 hard rock expansion is progressing on budget and nearing completion. Engineering and procurement work is finished, and all major mill components are installed. The structural, mechanical, and piping work is in the final stages, with electrical and instrumentation installation also well underway.
Mill commissioning and the first gold pour are expected in the fourth quarter of 2025, the company added.
Orezone shares closed up $0.01 to $1.65 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
