06:29 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Organigram Global ( OGI ) said Tuesday that it has appointed James Yamanaka as chief executive officer, effective on or about Jan. 15.

Yamanaka was most recently the global head of strategy for British American Tobacco, Organigram said.

Organigram also said chairman Peter Amirault will serve as executive chair on an interim basis beginning Dec. 1 to oversee day-to-day operations until Yamanaka assumes the CEO role.
