Organto Foods Swings to a Second-Quarter Loss Even as Revenue Surges

05:04 PM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Organto Foods ( OGOFF ) on Tuesday said it swung to a second-quarter loss on charges.

The company reported a net loss of $7.4 million for the quarter, compared with a year-prior loss of $2.1 million. It said the loss included $4.5 million in one-time charges,

Revenue rose 291% to $17.2 million from $4.4 million.

"We're quite pleased with our results thus far in 2025, which we believe are a solid reflection of the strong momentum we are building in our business. These results are the result of the extensive restructuring and business realignment we've executed over the past 18 months, which we believe sets a solid foundation for sustained growth, stability, and a clear path to profitability." Co-chair and CEO Steve Bromley said.

The company's shares closed up $0.01 to $0.75 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
