07:14 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orla Mining ( ORLA ) Monday said it has discovered a potential two-kilometer extension of the Musselwhite mine's main gold trend beyond current resources.
Drilling at the mine, located in Ontario, intersected high-grade gold mineralization 1.6 kilometers along strike from current operations, including 4.1 meters grading 15.1 grams per tonne of gold, with visible gold observed.
Favorable geology continues for an additional 400 meters, suggesting the trend may extend up to two kilometers beyond existing resources, the company said.
High-grade intersections in active mining areas support ongoing resource replacement and expansion efforts. Surface drilling within 10 kilometers of the mill has identified multiple targets for potential open-pit satellite deposits.
Musselwhite has produced over 6 million ounces of gold during its 28-year operating history and currently hosts 1.5 million ounces of proven and probable reserves.
