05:16 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orla Mining ( ORLA ) after close of trade Thursday released an updated technical report for its Camino Rojo deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico.
The updated report, according to a company statement, now includes the initial underground mineral resource estimate for the deposit, incorporating mineralization hosted in the Camino Rojo Sulphides and extending into the underlying Zone 22.
Orla is currently advancing a 15,000-metre drilling program aimed at "upgrading and expanding" the upper part of the Zone 22 resource, of which the drill program is currently approximately 90% complete.
The next phase of exploration to support potential development of the underground deposit -- including Zone 22 -- involves the planning, permitting and construction of an exploration drift, which could commence as early as 2026.
The company's shares closed down $0.47 to $15.67 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
