06:54 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Orla Mining ( ORLA ) on Wednesday reported that the Camino Rojo oxide mine in Mexico produced and sold more gold in the second quarter compared with the year-ago quarter.

In the second quarter, Camino Rojo produced 33,206 ounces of gold, up from 29,058 ounces, and sold 34,875 ounces, up from 29,773 ounces.

At June 30, Orla had cash of US$154.3 million and total debt of US$78.4 million, resulting in a net cash position of US$75.9 million.

Financial and operating results for the second quarter will be released on Aug. 12 and Orla will host a conference call the following day.

Orla's share price fell 2.3% to $5.21 on Tuesday.
