09:30 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ormat Technologies ( ORA ) said Wednesday it has completed its previously announced takeover of the 20-megawatt Blue Mountain geothermal power plant from Cyrq Energy for $88 million.

The Nevada-based plant provides power under a power purchase agreement with NV Energy, which is set to expire at the end of 2029, the company said, adding that it financed the acquisition through bank debt.

The deal was first announced in May.
