09:03 AM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ormat Technologies ( ORA ) said Wednesday that it has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement with Calpine Energy Solutions.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, Calpine Energy Solutions will purchase up to 15 megawatts from Ormat's ( ORA ) Mammoth 2 geothermal power near Mammoth Lakes, California, the company said.

Energy deliveries are set to begin in Q1 2027 and will replace an existing agreement with Southern California Edison, the company said.
