09:59 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ormat Technologies ( ORA ) said Monday that it signed a 25-year extension to its current power purchase agreement with the Southern California Public Power Authority for 52 megawatts from the Heber 1 geothermal facility located in Southern California.

The company said the extension deal is effective February 2026 through 2052, ensuring the supply of geothermal energy to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Imperial Irrigation District.

No financial details were disclosed.
