08:38 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orthofix Medical ( OFIX ) said Tuesday that it has launched a new limb preservation device globally following earlier regulatory clearance.

The company said it began commercial distribution of the TrueLok Elevate Transverse Bone Transport System, a device for treating limb defects such as those caused by diabetic ulcers.

The system had previously received regulatory clearance in the US and Europe, Orthofix said.

Shares of the company were up more than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
