06:12 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Orvana Minerals ( ORVMF ) late on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter production of 11,862 gold equivalent ounces, down from 15,567 gold equivalent ounces.

The mill processed 139,275 tonnes, a decrease from 189,527 tonnes. The company recorded 6 days of stoppage in August at the mill, during which preventive maintenance activities were performed.

Fiscal fourth-quarter financial results will be released with the year-end financials and fiscal 2025 guidance, scheduled for mid-December.

Orvana also said it drilled a total of 2,462 meters at the El Valle Boinas mine in Spain.

The drilling program in the fiscal fourth quarter was focused on Area 208 oxide orebody to convert inferred resources into indicated resources and extend the mineralization to the east.
