STOCKHOLM, March 5 (Reuters) - Swedish bourse operator
Nasdaq Stockholm said on Tuesday Oscar Properties had
received observation status on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Oscar Properties is one of several highly indebted
Swedish real estate groups buckling under soaring borrowing
costs and slower demand. Some of its creditors have in recent
months demanded immediate repayment of loans.
The bourse said in a statement it had taken the measure
based on the above news, and its rule that an issuer's financial
instruments may be given observation status if there is
uncertainty in respect of the issuer's financial position.
