08:47 AM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oshkosh's (OSK) Defense unit said Thursday it received a $72.9 million contract from the US Army Contracting Command's Detroit Arsenal for an additional Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles, or FMTV, A2 military vehicle.
Oshkosh Defense is working with the US Army to prepare for initial fielding in Q4, it added.
The unit already secured an FMTV A2 order in May from the US Military and its global partners, Oshkosh Defense said.
Shares of the company were up 3.4% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
