10:17 AM EDT, 04/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oshkosh's (OSK) shares slipped in recent Thursday trading after the company reported Q1 adjusted earnings of $2.89 per diluted share, up from $1.63 per share a year ago.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected adjusted EPS of $2.25.
Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $2.54 billion, up from $2.27 billion a year ago.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.49 billion.
The specialty truck builder said it is expecting 2024 adjusted EPS of around $11.25 on sales of about $10.70, up from the previously outlook for adjusted EPS of $10.25 on sales of $10.40 billion. Analysts are expecting 2024 adjusted earnings of $10.41 per share on sales of $10.31 billion.
The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.46 per share, payable May 28 to shareholders of record on May 13.
Oshkosh shares were about 1% lower in recent trading.
