08:48 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Development ( ODV ) fell 3.2% at last look Monday in Nasdaq pre-market trading as it reported drilling results from its 2024 initial exploration and historic data validation infill drill campaign at the Quesnel River (QR) mine prospect, part of the Cariboo gold project in British Columbia.
Results include 13.61 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 4.15 meters, including 31.90 g/t gold over 1.50 meters.
"Today's infill results are promising and reinforce the prospectivity of the historic QR mine area, as well as several surrounding skarn and intrusion related gold targets," said Chris Lodder, Osisko Development's ( ODV ) president. "This limited drill program aimed to validate historical exploration data from work conducted by previous owners between the 1970s and 2000s, which lacked preserved drill core."
The company said it plans to conduct follow-up targeted geophysical survey for the next phase of exploration and target generation on the property.
