07:36 AM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Development ( ODV ) said on Friday that it will resume activities at the Cariboo gold project in British Columbia after authorities lifted a wildfire evacuation order.

The wildfires didn't affect mine site infrastructure and all access roads to the project are open, Osisko said, adding that it will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety and welfare of its employees.

The company's share price rose 3.6% yesterday to $2.86 on the TSXV.
